Rhonda Lehman, LCSW-C, has been a clinical social worker since 1990 and brings more than three decades of experience working with adults and couples. Her work is grounded in a deep belief that healing happens when the mind and body are supported together in a compassionate, structured, and collaborative way. Rhonda’s passion to genuinely understand and connect with clients on a deep emotional level guides all of her interactions. 

Rhonda has extensive experience helping clients navigate challenges such as ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, addiction, and disordered eating. Her clinical interests also include infertility and loss, difficult or abusive relationships, and personality disorders. She is also interested in the legacy of trauma and the impact of dysfunctional communication across generations.

An Integrative, Mind–Body Approach

Rhonda’s approach blends traditional psychotherapy with mind–body practices that help clients learn to self-regulate, reduce stress, and build emotional awareness. She integrates techniques such as mindfulness, breathing, guided imagery, and Polyvagal-informed emotional regulation to support both psychological and nervous system health. Her work is scientifically grounded, non-pathologizing, and strength-based. She draws from a range of evidence-based and experiential therapies, including:
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Sensorimotor (somatic) psychotherapy
  • Polyvagal-informed interventions
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Rhonda is also certified in advanced trauma treatment through the Ferentz Institute and is trained in somatic therapy through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. 


Couples and Relationship Work

Rhonda is certified in Imago Relationship Therapy and incorporates this structured, communication-based approach in her work with couples and families. She is also trained in Gottman-informed methods and family systems therapy. Her relationship work focuses on helping partners feel heard, understood, and emotionally safe while developing healthier ways to communicate and resolve conflict.

As Founder and Clinical Director of MindBody Nest, Rhonda serves as the central point of care, coordinating with a collaborative team of wellness professionals to ensure that each client’s support plan is integrated and aligned.
